Blog of the Year

2x Thanks!
2x Thanks!

I am going to take this opportunity to thank two wonderful bloggers.  Patty and Shaun ( were so kind to nominate for me this awesome award.  This award is one I thought I would have to be a really well known blogger, and one that people who have had their blog up for one year.  Wow!  Am I surprised?  Yupper!

The rules for this Award:

3-Let the blog(s) that you have chosen know that you have given them this award and share the instructions with them- (please don’t alter the instructions or the badges!)

4-Come over and say hello to the originator of the Blog Of The Year 2013 Award via this link:

The nominees Are:

Jumping Jenny has a great blog.  She suffers from Fibromyalgia, but she always has a happy blog.  She offers everything from issues with OCD to her tale of making a dress.  Her blog is one of hope for those who suffer from fibro, and she keeps everything light, no bleeding hearts on her blog.  One of her most recent blogs has chart for those of us who have fibro.  The chart allows one to determine what kind of day they are having.  I have this as a ‘sticky’ on my page because the chart is just so good.  The chart can easily work for those who share our life.  The Buzz-o-meter (

Trey has a muchly desired writing style. His posts are often funny; sometime crass; and in rare times, very thought provoking.  He is a truck driver, taking his writing from one side of the country to the other, and up to Canada and down to Texas.  He writes about himself, in a narcissistic FUN way, and in a realistic form.  He was recently asked to tone down his work, but that didn’t stop him.  Now he just write the crude stuff on his own page (the one in the above link) and the other stuff is shared between his page and on the Community Story Board page.  Trey is a deep and kind man, with a lot to offer all of his readers.

IzaakMak is the author of I want Ice Water blog.  The reason I chose this blog is he shares so much humor, and well he just shares so much of what I find fun and interesting.  I want ice water is explained in his blog, and he uses it well.  His blog shares information on NASA as well as funnies, either about himself or the world in some phase or another.  Just a side note:  Izzak has spent a lot of time working on the appearance of his blog:  each page has a great back ground and header.  This alone is a great reason to at least visit his site.  He doesn’t like to be around huge crowds, so let’s all take a turn and not overwhelm his house.  Check it out!

There are so many who are so deserving of this award, I just had to narrow (really narrow) down my list.  I could probably go on until tomorrow night.

Peace & Love
